What is Personal Training with Julie’s Online Coaching Program all about?

I have been working as a personal trainer for 8 years and have owned my own business for more than 2 years. I love what I do! I train people in their homes and at a local gym, but I have maxed out my available in-person hours and I still want to help more people! I am accepting a small handful of clients for my beta online coaching program, which will be the same model as any future program- I’m just working out the kinks! Who is the Online Coaching program for?

Any woman with *some* exercise experience who is ready to get back into a routine with structure, guidance, and accountability. Whether you are looking to get stronger, tone up, lose weight, feel better, or have more energy, there is something here for you!

What kind of trainer am I?

While exercise is what you’re here for (and it’s so important!) I will work with you to build a growth mindset, self-discipline, self love and confidence as you work towards your goals. I believe that every woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin. I believe in a healthy, balanced approach for long-term success and try really hard to avoid toxic diet culture and harm. I value honesty and integrity and will call out the BS in fitness industry when I see it. I believe in supporting and uplifting other women- there is enough praise, love, admiration, beauty, and success for all of us! I do not promote or subscribe to fads or quick fixes. I will also never filter bodies or faces in any program or on social media! Losing weight is hard. Getting strong is hard. Living unhappy in your skin is hard. Tell me what you want for yourself and I will help you get there.

How does it all work?

We will schedule a video call to chat “face-to-face” about what your goals and concerns are. During our call, I will also do some assessments, so I’ll ask you to dress in comfortable clothing and to be ready to perform a few basic movements. These screenings will tell me if there are specific areas we need to focus on. I will also ask you some questions.

  • Do you have any injuries or issues I need to keep in mind?

  • Are you new to exercise?

  • Have you worked with a trainer in the past?

  • What worked for you and what didn’t?

  • What space do you have to work in and do you have time constraints?

  • Do you have access to equipment?

  • What is it that you want to accomplish?

The answers to the above questions and any other details you share with me will determine what your personalized program looks like. While the service I offer is the same for all, your actual workout program is designed just for you! Nutrition Coaching is also an option and can also be discussed here. I respect your autonomy, your choices, and goals and will work to guide you towards the positive changes you want to make in a healthy and supportive way.

Workouts will be available to you online through an app. You can use the app directly or print your workout and bring it with you. Videos are included to demonstrate how an exercise is to be performed! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me! I will respond as soon as I am able.

I have office hours where I will being checking in on everyone in my training programs. We will check in once a week by text or email. A brief phone call is also an option, if needed. During your check in, I will ask how you are doing, if you have any questions or concerns, and if you can share any “wins” with me. Celebrating little wins throughout the week is rewarding in itself and helps us recognize small changes along the way. Accountability and having a coach in your corner will help keep you going! Your check-in is a great opportunity to make sure things are going well and changes can be made to your program if necessary.

Who is the Online Coaching program NOT for?

Anyone who answers YES to any of the following questions:

  • Dudes. Ha! Men are great, but this particular program is just for ladies.

  • Anyone who has never had exercise experience at all.

  • Anyone who answers YES to any of the PAR-Q questions (We would go over this on your video call)

How long does the program last for?

Initially, 60-90 days. The truth is that it takes some time to build habits and for change to occur. I encourage you to make a commitment to yourself for at least 60 days. Put in the work, trust the process, and invest this time and effort into building the healthy life you want for yourself. If I could 2-day ship the results to you, I would, but I promise you that the effort and the process will be worth it!

  • Custom nutrition recommendations and ongoing support via text (like having a Personal Trainer in your pocket!)

  • Weekly email with unlimited questions for additional support
